Our client, a successful operator within the igaming space are growing their tech team and looking for an exceptional Back End Developer to join their ranks. 

The current team consists of around 50 dedicated specialists hungry for challenges, opportunity to build projects from scratch and freedom to decide and implement.

We’re looking for someone with strong experience in Java, Spring Boot and MongoDB and someone confident in all aspects of server-side development for casino games, including support and enhancement of the game platform to support innovating promotional tools.

The team’s philosophy for back end development is: stable, scalable and supportable which is achieved through simplicity, convention and cunning. While the team is expanding, the aim is to remain dynamic and highly supportive internally. You’ll enjoy working in a fast-paced and rewarding environment with no corporate management hierarchy.


What you’ll be doing…

  • Developing games based on requirements and designs provided by Product Owners;

  • Supporting platform integrations and enhancements;

  • Simulating millions of rounds to confirm and verify expected Return to Player (RTP) / house edge;

  • Maintaining version control of all additions and updates using GIT and other tools;

  • Creating and maintaining documentation;

  • Being ready to investigate and provide support of game issues to external operators, including “on-call” support out of business hours on a rotating roster.

It is you who we are looking for if you have…

  • Proven experience with game development (ideally with gambling games);

  • At least 4+ years of experience in Java and Spring Boot;

  • Experience with WebSocket communication and RESTful API;

  • Experience with MongoDB, Redis, RabbitMQ and Kubernetes is a plus;

  • Solid understanding of TDD, clean code principles and clean architecture;

  • Solid understanding of enterprise system architecture, scalability and user experience;

  • Fluent level of verbal and written English.
