We’re in the search of a Backend Developer with a passion for modern technologies, a drive for delivery and a knack for global thinking to join our client’s team.

Our client is a company is a software company that is creating solutions for support sales and marketing teams with easy-to-use, powerful tools that make everyday work faster and easier. Today, their cloud-based software is trusted by over 98,000 companies and used in 150 countries. They have grown from a five-man team to a truly international company of over 800 people, representing more than 50 nationalities, with ten offices distributed across Europe and the US.

Responsibilities:

  • Design services to be highly available and scale across multiple geographical regions
  • Work independently within a team and deliver high-quality code in a timely manner
  • Complete code reviews and provides feedback to your peers
  • Write automated tests
  • Deploy services to production and maintain their monitoring and alerting setup
  • Be on-call when it’s your turn, react to alerts and resolve production incidents
  • Define standards and guidelines for other engineers
  • Continuously improve our stack and pay off technical debt

Requirements:

  • A proven track record in software development 
  • Experience with some of the following technologies is required: Node.js or TypeScript, Go, any SQL database, Docker, Apache Kafka
  • A passion for software architecture
  • A deep understanding of distributed systems, microservice and event-driven architectures and data-heavy applications is a must
  • Interest in and contributions to the Open Source community are a plus
  • The ability to work in a team distributed across all of our engineering offices
  • Fluency in English is a must
