Country Manager – Chile

A great opportunity within an igaming operator with presence in multiple markets! We’re hiring for a Country Manager – Chile who will be responsible for developing and implementing the company’s growth strategy in Chile. This role will combine strategic oversight, brand-building, and hands-on marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, user acquisition, and customer retention in Chile. As the primary representative for the market, the Country Manager will collaborate closely with global teams to ensure alignment with the company’s brand, vision, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Strategy and Growth

    • Develop and execute a localized marketing strategy tailored to the Chilean market, aligning with the company’s global objectives.
    • Conduct thorough market research to identify growth opportunities, user preferences, and key competitive differentiators in Chile.
    • Define and track KPIs to measure market success, focusing on user acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Marketing and Brand Positioning

    • Build and enhance brand visibility in Chile through multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, social media, offline) in alignment with the company’s branding guidelines.
    • Lead PR initiatives and collaborate with local influencers, media outlets, and sponsorship opportunities to strengthen brand presence.
  • User Acquisition and Retention

    • Develop strategies to acquire new users through targeted campaigns and drive engagement among existing users.
    • Work with the CRM team to tailor retention programs, ensuring that content, promotions, and incentives meet the preferences and expectations of the Chilean audience.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Local Insights

    • Ensure all activities comply with Chilean regulations and licensing requirements in online gaming and sports betting.
    • Serve as the local expert on industry trends, regulatory changes, and user behavior, providing insights to adjust the company’s approach as needed.
  • Stakeholder Management and Partnerships

    • Build and maintain relationships with local stakeholders, industry influencers, and potential partners to support strategic objectives.
    • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including product, operations, customer service, and compliance, to ensure a seamless user experience and market fit.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting

    • Regularly analyze market data, user feedback, and campaign performance to assess strategy effectiveness and make data-driven adjustments.
    • Report key insights, challenges, and results to senior management, providing recommendations for future action.

Key Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a marketing or country management role, preferably within the online gaming, betting, or digital entertainment industry.
  • Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Chilean market, including regulatory requirements, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in both Spanish and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing performance metrics and making data-driven decisions.
  • Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Compliance-Oriented: Familiarity with legal regulations specific to the Chilean online gambling and betting market.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with digital marketing channels (e.g., SEO, PPC, social media, and influencer marketing).
  • Proven track record of launching new products or brands in a new market.
