We’re in the search of an Infrastructure Architect to join our clients team in Tallinn to design, evaluate and deliver infra solutions that will support the growth and business requirements.

Our client is a software company that is creating solutions for support sales and marketing teams with easy-to-use, powerful tools that make everyday work faster and easier. Today, their cloud-based software is trusted by over 98,000 companies and used in 150 countries. They have grown from a five-man team to a truly international company of over 800 people, representing more than 50 nationalities, with ten offices distributed across Europe and the US. 

Responsibilities:

  • Plan infrastructure on a strategic level, including developing a short and long term infrastructure roadmap
  • Act as expert for infrastructure team in the planning, design, and delivery of infrastructure solutions
  • Participate in proof of concepts to assist in defining technology direction and enabling business strategy
  • Consult development teams during systems design from the infrastructure side
  • Support company growth by providing scaling infra solutions
  • Provide third level support for incidents and problems in designated areas of expertise
  • Mentor and lead complicated infrastructure architectural projects
  • Maintain a common documentation library of standardized procedures and configurations cookbooks

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in a production IT environment managing IT infrastructure, public clouds, hosting services and security
  • Ability to write architectural design documents or review design documents provided by others
  • Solid technical background in stateful services including relational databases, nosql databases, message queue systems and others
  • Strong skills in kubernetes and the belief that it’s a future platform for running infra services as well
  • Knowledge and understanding of industry trends and new technologies, and the ability to apply trends to architectural needs
  • Scripting and automation skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • Preference for thinking outside the box and considering problems as opportunities
  • A can-do attitude when it comes to challenges and an eagerness to tackle them
