Our partner in the fintech industry are currently looking to hire a Lead Software Developer with 7+ years of professional experience with an expertise in Node.js development and React as well as experience managing a team.
In this role, you will be primarily responsible for designing and creating complex software systems. The ideal candidate will have obtained a varied set of tech capabilities having hands-on experience with React, Node.JS, SQL Server, AWS.
You’ll be joining at an exciting time for the business having just closed the round of raising capital and entering new heights with their product. In this role you’ll be working closely with the founders of the business and have potential to grow into CTO role in the near future as the company grows.
Responsibilities
- Developing Node.js applications and microservices.
- Developing front-end systems using React
- Designing and creating databases.
- Creating documentation for systems.
- Managing a small team of developers & QA.
- Working with stakeholders such as project managers on deliverables.
- Keeping yourself up to date with emerging technologies
Requirements
- 7 – 10 years total in development and 5 + on of Node development experience.
- Multiple years of experience working with React.
- Leadership experience even if a small team
- Experience working with a fintech product
- Lending / neo bank experience.
- Experience developing desktop and mobile web applications.
- Strong organizational and task management skills.
- Excellent team player
- Top-notch verbal communication skills.
