Legal & Compliance Officer

As a Legal & Compliance Officer, your key responsibilities will include overseeing gaming compliance life-cycle in specific markets and assisting in day-to-day compliance matters. You’ll be in regular contact with business stakeholders to ensure understanding of the business landscape as a whole. Our client is looking for a self-driven person with a can-do mentality to keep up with this role in the Legal & Compliance team that works incredibly Fast yet in a Fun and Fair way!

You’ll report in an accurate and timely manner to local and overseas regulatory authorities when required and be the point-of-contact with the authorities, ensuring that internal compliance processes align with external legislative requirements. You’ll understand the importance of communicating those requirements and any changes to the business and operational stakeholders upon new products.


Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing and drafting agreements and other legal documents with different service providers;

  • Identifying and providing overviews of the possible risks for the business;

  • Onboarding external service providers, answering their questions and sending out due diligence documentation;

  • Working closely with other departments and stakeholders; assisting them with legal tasks such as: dealing with incoming queries, gathering information, filling in the forms and organising legal documents.


Requirements:

  • A university degree in law;

  • At least 3 years of experience, preferably in a compliance or regulatory role; although experience in other environments can be considered;

  • Ability to multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced business environment;

  • Excellent level of written and verbal English;

  • Previous experience in iGaming industry (highly beneficial, but not a must).
