Senior System Administrator

Our client -award-winning, B2B multi-product provider operating within the iGaming industry is looking for a motivated Senior System Administrator with excellent Linux knowledge and deep analytical skills to join IT Infrastructure team in Tallinn. You will specialize in Databases, Monitoring and Backup. You will work with the rest of the team to design, build, deploy and maintain systems that are serving the products and customers all over the globe. This is a chance to work with a truly international team with colleagues in Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Malta, Gibraltar and Serbia.
Job summary:
As a Senior System Administrator, you will write scripts to monitor systems and automate routine tasks, mainly using Ansible. You will also maintain our client’s infrastructure-as-a-code system, assist with routine network tasks and continuously work with improving monitoring and telemetry.
Troubleshooting issues across the entire stack (diagnose software, application, and network) as well as documenting current and future configuration processes and policies is also an important aspect of the job.
Your ability to identify and critically analyze problems in given systems as well as propose and develop solutions independently is key for this position.
Required skills and background:
- Experience with Linux operating systems (Debian/Ubuntu)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform/Terragrunt)
- Experience with Configuration Management tools (Ansible, Chef, etc.)
- Experience with Databases (MariaDB, PostgreSQL)
- Previous programming experience in any scripting language (Python, Bash, etc.)
- Good knowledge of Zabbix, Grafana and/or other monitoring tools
- Fluency in spoken and written English is a must
Bonus points for…
- Experience with Network administration and troubleshooting (Cisco)
- Experience with Logstash, Kibana, Elasticsearch, Docker, Proxmox VE
- The ability to write and support documentation
