Technical Product Owner

Our client, an international tech business that is building software to benefit the logistics industry is looking for a highly motivated professional to be a part of the engineering team who deals with the next generation cloud supply chain management platform. As a Technical Product Owner, you will be involved in the development of one of the main products – Integration Engine. This service handles all the inbound and outbound integration processes and is used in different areas – communication with customers systems, message exchange with carriers, or connections to various data providers. 

Responsibilities

  • Align vision and roadmap with stakeholders and domain experts
  • Set targets and KPIs and track progress towards them
  • Take part in design decisions together with the team and stakeholders
  • Take responsibility for the functional requirement definition and the delivery of the global solution of the product
  • Orchestrate cross-functional team from ideas to feature launches, collaborate closely with engineering, onboarding, and operations teams
  • Coordinate and communicate project launches across the company and to users
  • Recommend application modernisation opportunities and application lifecycle management efficiencies

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in SaaS/PaaS solutions
  • Experience in EDI B2B Integrations: EDIFACT, XML, JSON, CSV using various protocols API, SOAP, FTP, AS2, etc
  • Experience with Microservices, distributed systems, messaging
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneous
  • Leadership personality and ability to drive large teams
  • Outstanding conceptual and analytical thinking as well as open-minded person with can-do approach
  • Combination of strong technical background and business acumen: technical university degree is strongly preferred
  • You are an agile team player and have good understanding of agile values and principles, Scrum, Kanban, and Lean
  • You enjoy interdisciplinary work in a self-organising team
  • Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written), other languages advantageous
