Chief Sales Officer

Our client, a leading provider of cutting-edge surveillance and security solutions, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief of Sales (CSO) to join their team. With over 25 years of experience in defense and security industries across 25 countries, our client is dedicated to protecting borders and supporting law enforcement agencies globally. Their flagship product, utilizes innovative technology, including autonomous surveillance platforms and AI-powered software, to provide state-of-the-art situational awareness solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead a high-performing sales team focused on driving sales of border security and AI surveillance solutions in the national security sector.
  • Identify and capitalize on market needs to develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy.
  • Foster relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in government agencies and defense organizations through regular communication and participation in trade shows and industry events. (frequent travel)
  • Drive aggressive sales growth by actively pursuing and closing deals in target regions, including MENA and NATO countries.
  • Lead tender program preparations and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the B2G industry and defense/security market cycles.
  • Collaborate with international team members to achieve sales objectives and expand market reach.
  • Provide strategic input to company management and contribute to overall business development efforts.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of success in B2G sales, particularly in the defense or security sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead successful international sales teams.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a history of closing complex deals.
  • Experience in tender program preparations and wins.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to think creatively and find innovative solutions.
  • Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Russian is a plus.
