With a strong focus on agility and collaboration, they are seeking a Project Manager to join their Project Management Office (PMO). This role will support project execution and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Role Summary
As a Project Manager, you will work closely with the PMO and assist the Senior Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing projects. Your role will involve managing project documentation, tracking progress, facilitating communication, and ensuring adherence to project timelines and standards. Key Responsibilities
Project Support
- Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, and deliverables under the guidance of the Senior Project Manager.
- Support the PMO in maintaining project documentation, including project charts, status reports, and risk registers.
- Track and report project progress using tools like Jira, Confluence, Monday, Slack, Google Workspace.
Coordination and Communication
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project tasks are completed on time.
- Facilitate communication between team members, stakeholders, and management.
- Organize and document project meetings, including preparing agendas and structuring AI meeting minutes.
Monitoring and Reporting
- Monitor project performance against timelines and budgets, escalating issues to the PMO as needed.
- Prepare regular project status reports and dashboards.
- Identify potential risks or bottlenecks and communicate them to the Senior Project Manager.
Process Improvement
- Support the PMO in standardizing and improving project management processes.
- Help implement project management tools and best practices across teams.
Learning and Development
- Actively participate in training sessions and mentorship opportunities to develop project management skills.
- Stay updated on industry trends, methodologies, and tools relevant to project management.
Qualifications and Skills
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, IT, or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in a project support or coordination role, ideally in the technology sector.
- Swedish language skills are beneficial.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE2).
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or Asana).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive and resourceful with a strong willingness to learn.
Preferred:
- Certification in project management fundamentals (e.g., CAPM, Agile Fundamentals, PRINCE2 Foundation).
- Knowledge of online technology platforms or software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience in coordinating with remote or distributed teams.
