Our Magic Mondayz Recruitment team has grown with another member – we’re pleased to introduce Niina, our new Technical Talent Hunter who recently joined our ranks. Niina is based in Barcelona and hunting for top-notch developers, designers and artists for those tech clients of ours that are building the coolest products out there.

Who is Niina and what is she all about?

Niina is our Tech Talent Hunter and Salsa Queen. She loves to travel and used to live in a few different places, including Sweden and California. However, Spain was the country that really stole her heart during a family vacation when she was only 5 years old and therefore she chose Barcelona to be her home. Niina’s biggest passion is dancing. When she’s off duty you’ll probably find her on a dance floor showing off her salsa and bachata skills  On top of being a great dancer, Niina is also a Polyglot. She speaks 4 languages and loves meeting new people coming from different backgrounds, which comes in very handy being an international recruiter.

What makes Niina MAGIC?

Previous HR and coaching experience. HR Degree from Stockholm University and University of California San Diego. Psychology studies.

✨Why did you choose recruitment as a career?

I have always been interested in helping people and in this profession I can really help people find jobs that maximize their potential and make them thrive. MM has also given me an opportunity to maximize my own potential and provided me with an environment where I can thrive ?

✨If you were to choose a well-known axiom or slogan for your life, what would it be?

-Just do it!

✨ If you could be cast in a movie of your choice, what movie would you choose and which character would you want to play?

Rocky – and I would definitely choose to play Rocky because he chases his seemingly impossible dream relentlessly and does not give up and finally achieves his dream. It is a metaphor for life.

✨What’s something you believed earlier in your career but think about differently now?

I believed it is important to have a good education and a career where you can find a good job. I have then realized what really matters is to find what you are genuinely passionate about, that´s when you will be able to find your dream job and will truly thrive in what you do.
